In need of some latin dynamos

I have been attempting latin for quite awhile now, and I’m just starting to get the hang of it. I have my foot in the door, but I need help with a translation.

The fast horse enveloped shadow over man.

My attempt was:

ille equo firmo homo umbro super involvat.


Any help is GREATLY appreciated. As you can tell, I’m no professional.

I would rephrase this to say “the fast horse enveloped man in shadow”, though I too have no idea what that means. Anyways, if you wanted to say this, you would want equus in the nominative case, a word for “fast” (e.g. velox; but firmus means “strong”), homo in the accusative, umbra in the ablative (probably with preposition in), and involvo, -ere in a 3rd conjugation past tense. You also do not need the word ille “that”, and super is not necessary if you use my translation and needs to precede homo (in the accusative) if you choose to use it, which I wouldn’t recommend.

I would say (ignorant of the meaning if there is one):
velox equus in umbra hominem involvit
