Hi. Just found this site. I have worked through Mastronarde and am now on Lesson X of Pharr / Wright.
In three more lessons I will be starting on selections from the Iliad (I prefer the Odyssey)! I am retired and devoting myself to antiquity for the simple reason that I enjoy it. But it would be nice to contact fellow antiquaries and share the pleasure.
I visited Pompeii and Herculaneum when young, also Ephesus and Didyma. I like to think I lived before, possibly as a Greek in southern Italy. Or maybe a Samnite.
