Hi there, my name is Shane and I’m currently beginning to learn Attic Greek using Hansen and Quinn’s text.
I’m interested in pursuing a Masters in the area of German Philhellenism and its effects on German philosophy in the 19th century. Other areas that have sparked my interest in Ancient Greek (and which I’m interested in researching) include the reconstruction of the classical greek mind in contemporary historical fiction, as well as the convergence of aesthetic and divine experience in classical greek art.
