Hi! I'm new, and need a little help

Hi I am new here!

Don’t know much greek or latin - and would realy like to learn! But its a matter of time, and tons of other important stuff to learn!

Anyhow, I wondered if you could help me a little?

I’m looking for a greek or latin word for:
A person who is positive, holds positive and empowering thoughts. A positve thinker with success.

I’m hopefully going to use it for a domainname for a Norwegian messageboard for positive people…

I’m looking forward to reading around, an I hope the ancient greeks or romans has a good frase/word for what I’m looking!

Wish you all a really fantastic day!

Hey you,

I don’t know the appropriate classical Latin for that, but in Neolatin we use Optimismi fautor or Melioris partis conspector or even In meliorem partem acceptor.

If you want to say ‘For optimists’ you have to put these in the dative case:

Optimismi fautoribus; Melioris partis conspectoribus; In meliorem partem acceptoribus.

This is all I found till now, I know it souds a little bit long, sorry.

Moerus

Thanks!

But I was hoping for something shorter…

How about: prosperity, success or mindpower?

Thank you for helping!

These are indeed a little shorter:

prosperity = prosperitas
success = res secundae or felicitas
mindpower = fortitudo animi or vis animi

Hope that can be helpful,

greetz,

Moerus
