Trying to gather the precise quote for a passge below. If you find it please share how you did it. Perseus is a great tool.

I Googled “μεγάλων γὰρ εἰδώλων” and got three hits. They all seem to come from Sextus Empiricus Adversus mathematicos IX.

Looks like Epicurus → Sextus Empiricus → Gassendi
