Help wanted, A First Greek Course

Hi, everyone!

I found this really interesting book https://archive.org/details/FirstGreekCourse and I’ve been using it for the last couple of days. However, I feel like there are some stuff in it which are not explained enough since it was meant for a class with a teacher present.

Now, I understand the first verse, the other three, not so much.

Could someone please translate and explain the grammar/syntax behind them?
Is the in the second verb still logos? Only logos has the charm of the soul?
Is that accusative and infinitive in the last verse?

λόγος ἐστὶν ἰατρὸς λύπης. ἰατρὸς τίσι; τοῖς ἀνθρώποις. ἰατρὸς τίνος; λύπης.

λόγος ἔχει θελκτήρια. θελκτήρια τίνος; λόγος ἔχει θελκτήρια ψυχῆς. τίς ἔχει θελκτήρια; οὗτος μόνος ὁ λόγος.

τί λέγουσιν οἱ πάλαι σοφώτατοι; ὅτι λόγος ἐστὶν φάρμακον ἀστεῖον καὶ λόγος ἐστὶν φάρμακον χρήσιμον. οἱ σοφώτατοι λέγουσι λόγον εἶναι φάρμακον χρήσιμον καὶ ἀστεῖον.

ἀρέσκει μοι, εἰ τοῦτο ἐποίησε ἡ βοηθεία, ὅτι σὺ νῦν οὐκ ἀγνοεῖς ὅντινα πρότερον ἠγνόεις.
