Help Checking Ligature Sprinkled Section of Text

There is a ligature section I am trying to render as correct as possible. Here is the page URL:

Using this handy guide https://grbs.library.duke.edu/article/view/11391/4169 here is my attempt. “feci quod potui, faciant meliora potentes.” :smiley:

Any help appreciated. Will use the corrections for future ligatures in this piece: (Gassendi seems consistent).

My attempt at the passage:

Ώ Θεὸς, ὂν λέγεσιν, ήτοι εμπροθεν αιώναουχιω οτε λᾦ ἀκίνητα τώ σώμαλα, ἢἂτάϰτως εκινείτο ἢ εκοιμάτο ἢ εγςηγόρει, ἢουδέπεςον. Και ουτε τό ωρώτόν ές δέξαγάρ (ὁ γάρ Θεὸς αιώνιος) ουτε το δεύτεςον, γάρ έϰοιυἂτο έξ αίῶνος ό Θεὸς, έτεθἠϰει, αιώνος γάρ ὔπνος ὁ θἀνατός ἑςιν. αλιτρα (αλλ?) ὂύτε δεχτιχὀς ὓπνου Θεὸς, τὸ γάρ άθἀνατον τοὒ Θεὸς, και τὸ έγγὺς θανάτὸυ πολύ ϰεχώειςου. Dave, don’t shoot the messenger, but it’s full of mistakes. If you are serious about it, you should learn Greek and then you would easily avoid most, if not all, of them.

Yep, I have some pictures of the text and will comb over it again and again … checking to see if it matches any known text fragment.

I did go over the text and as my first attempt, it was a disaster (magnified pictures of text and close rereading showed errors everywhere). Thank you for setting the bar and providing a passage. Will check it after I try to comb over the text
