After about three months of seasonal work and one month of vacation, I’m finally home and settling back into my routines again. I did my first lesson of Latin today, and I’m really looking forward to setting up a regular schedule for studying it. Thank goodness, I can do that now.
Thank god you can learn Latin? Ah well, there will always be mad people out there, who like learning Latin…
Welcome back, hope you can find the time to work through quite a few chapters in your Latin book this summer. Which lesson are you up to anyway?
Yes, thank goodness! I love my Latin. One of these days, I’m going to get good at it.
I did some Latin, and some of my other languages, too, while I was working (it was one of those jobs where you didn’t have to use your brain; I was sticking plants in boxes, so I had plenty of time to think), but I was usually too tired to do much, so I figured I wouldn’t do any at all while I was on vacation; give my brain a chance to rest, and come back fresh and ready to start again (not to mention that my textbook is on my computer, and I had to leave that at home!).
As to what lesson I’m on…I had just made it to either twelve or thirteen before I started spring work. However, I’ve gone ahead and started back at the beginning, since most of what I learned before escaped me during these last few months.
Hopefully you’ll all be seeing a lot of me from now on; I quit my third job, and I’m now working strictly on our home business and my writing, and, of course, my studies.
