I have decided to give learning Hebrew a trail run.
Do any of you know of a site similar to this one but dedicated to Hebrew?
Ok…you asked for it! Here are some bookmarks that I have and use:
http://home.earthlink.net/~vikn/
http://www.chass.utoronto.ca/~decaen/hypertextbook/index.html
http://www.geocities.com/jhronline/
http://bible.ort.org/intro1.asp?lang=1
Unfortunately, none of them are nearly as good as Textkit (IMHO)
FWIW, I’ve heard that Practico and Vanpelt’s Beginning Grammar and Workbook are a good way to start.
Thanks Kopio. I will check them out.
Have you heard of Beginning Biblical Hebrew by Futato ?
It came highly recommended as a electronic book for Logos.
I can’t justify spending the money on Logos at the moment but I wonder if Futato’s book received its high recommendation due to it being a e-book or if the printed version would have received high accolades as well.
The second and the last link seem quite suitable.
For the second one http://www.chass.utoronto.ca/~decaen/hypertextbook/index.html
there are no directions as to font requirements.
Do you know what I need?
