Grinchus

I was over on ebay looking up some latin books I’d like to get when I came across this one:

Quomodo Invidiosulus nomine Grinchus Christi Natalem Abrogaverit

I wonder if it rythmes.

I haven’t actually read it, but my Latin teacher claims it’s quite bad. Just look at the title, even that is overly wordy. The Cat in the Hat is supposed to be much better, as is Green Eggs and Ham (which has pretty good rhythm, although it loses the alternating rhythm effect of the rhythm), so if you don’t have either of these I’d probably go for one of them first.

I’ve read a bit of the Grinch in Latin, but it was too early in my studies to make much sense out of it.

The bit I’ve read from The Cat in the Hat (Cattus Petatus, I think) was quite fun and, as said before, has a nice rhythm.

I have cattus petasatus and even I can enjoy it, so it must be good! FRAGGORRR!!
