Salvete! I’m new here, so I thought I should introduce myself. I’m a music theorist who studies late medieval and renaissance music theory. Although I should have used Boethius’s term for such a person (musicus) as my username, it was already taken, so I settled for what I study. 
I am now teaching myself Greek, mostly to enjoy reading histories, philosophy, and Christian works in their original language, but I may also extend my reading to Greek music theory. I look forward to learning from you all!
