I am happy to have found you all as I try to brush up on the little Latin I’ve studied. A few summers ago I took an Intensive Latin course, using Moreland and Fleischer, which was great, though for a variety of reasons our class never got past chapter 15, even though we picked up our already intense pace after chapter 8. I never did quite get a handle on the Latin past chapter 8, but I’m trying to rectify that now.
So, I’ve started with M&F again, beginning with chapter 1. My review of the first few chapters went fairly quickly, but now I’m back at chapter 8 and, oh boy, I’m back in the weeds. Well, my pace has certainly slowed, but here’s hoping I make it father than I did last time.
Anyway, thanks for this platform. Ultimately, I’m hoping to be able to read Augustine (among other writers). We’ll see how it goes
