Hello everyone,
I just began learning Latin and thought it would be interesting to be part of the community since I have learned so much from this website.
But first let me introduce myself.
I am a native Spanish and French speaker and to me the ultimate goal in learning Latin would be to read fluently great books originally written in Latin.
I have read quite a bit of research in the field of language acquisition, specially Krashen, Asher (TPR) and the like.
So I am applying a comprehensible input/ extensive reading/ extensive listening approach to learning this beautiful language. In the past, I applied this method successfully in another language (Mandarin Chinese).
I am following the Lingua Latina per se illustrata series and I am loving it!
It is the best language textbook I have found in my life (including other languages).
I am interested in researching, finding and discussing resources and methods that are brain friendly.
Cheers!
