Hello to all. I am a Latin learner, a person of the third age. I live in SF, CA.
I took Latin as self-study about tenyears ago for several years of continual pursuit.
Then I began learning Spanish on my own five years ago, that too has been a continuing to date.
I love Spanish. In fact, it is part of my daily life and I have incorporated it as a daily routine, nourishing my appetite for learning languages and discovering each latin culture respective to their history and tradition.
My native tongue is Persian. I came to the United States in 1973 and have lived here nearly forty-nine years; it is way more than half of my life.
I am excited to restart learning Latin. After so many years, my English is still lacking in some respect, however, I try to improve not only my English grammar and vocabulary on a daily basis but also to incorporate what I encounter in my pursuit of other languages.
I look forward to reading the posts on this forum and learn from all of you polyglots.
