Good Tutorials for Basic Video Editing?

Seriously though, are there any basic platforms/tutorials people would recommend?

I used Cinelerra years ago. Now I forgot how to use it. It’s very powerful and free.

You don’t need a tutorial, you need a good video editor. I’ve been doing videos in Youtube and vimeo for some years. Have done over 1200 vids, mostly exegetical. I use AVS4YOU stuff for editing, also Windows 7’s own Moviemaker 6.0, and for Linux kdenlive (which has an interface similar to Moviemaker). All allow HD audio and video, though Windows’ version is a bit more limited in the options.

The so-called packages like Cyberlink, I found unhelpful.
