Does anyone know where I could find a list online of approximately the 1000 most common French words?

Believe it or not, I put “1000 most common French words” into Google, and shortly came up with this:

It also has a downloadable PDF format version. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the link. All of the lists I found were either too long or too short.
