Errors in D'Ooge's Answer Key, Section 270

I found a few more errors in the answer key to D’Ooge’s book in section 270, pg 23. They are all in part 1 of section 270.

Sentence 4 in D’Ooge’s book (pg. 119) reads:

Pompeiis multas Romanorum domos videre poteritis.

The answer key reads:

At Pompeii you can see many houses of the Romans.

I believe the correct answer should read:

At Pompeii you will be able (pl.) to see many houses of the Romans.

Sentence 9 (same page, same section, same part) reads:

Propter arbores altas nec lacum nec portum reperire potuimus.

The answer key reads:

Because of the high trees we have not been able to find the lake and the harbour.

I believe a more clear and literal translation would be:

Because of the tall trees we have been able to find neither the lake nor the harbor.

(This one is up to you to change or not)

Sentence 10:

Proeliis crebris Caesar legiones suas quae erant in Gallia exercebat.

The answer key:

Caesar drilled his legions that were in Gaul with many battles.

Crebris means frequent (in the ablative of course), so shouldn’t it be:

Caesar drilled his legions that were in Gaul with frequent battles.

Those are all the errors I found in this section. I’ll keep them coming.

Done. Thank you!
