I stumbled across this blog and browsed through it quickly. It’s the journal of a fellow New Yorker who is finishing up a year of teaching in Greece. Check out at the very least the descriptions and pictures of: Oct 3, climbing Mt Olympus; Nov 21, the monastaries at Meteora; Feb 21, Athens; and especially April 22, in the Peloponnesus.

Now I really want to go to Greece. Can I live on your couch for a while Irene? :wink:

swiftnicholas nice link! You are welcome of course to use my couch as a base (in Pireaus as the rest of house) but I’m afraid you’re going to have to travel a bit to see all that she has (it took me YEARS to go to all these places she has visited!).
