I am trying to decline ε3ως. However, I don’t know what paradigm to use. Any suggestions? Many thanks.
Do you mean ἕως? It doesn’t decline.
What you see is what you get.
No - I mean ε3ως Dawn. It must decline since the genitive appears to ε3ω
According to Smyth’s grammar it belongs to the Attic Declension (like νέως), except it has the accusative in -ω rather than -ων, so:
N. ἕως
A. ἕω
G. ἕω
D. ἕῳ
There doesn’t seem to be an extant vocative.
Many Thanks. Didn’t know it featured in Smyth. I’ve got Smyth but I’haven’t come to grips with it…
