Hello all.
We’re looking for a picture of a “Roman” lady for the new cover for TeachMe! Latin.
Have a look at www.linguashop.com and click the following
french
spanish
german
welsh
irish
catalan
chinese
czech
dutch
italian
There you will see the various covers we have.
This will give you an idea what sort of picture we are looking for.
We look forward to hearing from you.
David
Guten abend kembreg,
Those boxes are very nicely designed. I know you want to keep the continuity by using a live person, but I’d use a Roman bust of a woman in place of the live woman shots. It might work well if you choose the right angle and picture.
Best,
WB

Thanks for the posts.
Can anyone suggest colours for the cover.
For example, Finnish uses white and blue (colours of the flag)
French use red, white and blue (flag).
Welsh uses reg, green and white (flag) etc.
What colours should we use for Latin?
What were typical roman colours?
Thanks,
David

a common flag is red (with a gold “SPQR” text).
