I recently finished editing/revising/combining/rewriting/translating into English two old scanned copies of Commenius Orbis Pictus (the two documents are posted on letsreadgreek.com). Now it is in clean Greek type with an English translation. While I make no claims to perfection, I have fixed a great deal of errors which were in the original two documents and hopefully have generally produced a usable and useful result for vocabulary acquisition. Very good! In case you should be interested, Phil transcribed Comenius’ Janua Linguarum Reserata in an edition with a parallel Greek translation by Theodor Simon. Randy Gibson has a partial one too.

strange…were you actually able to download the pdf Bedwere? I can get to the page on Archive but when I click the pdf download link I get a 404 error.

I found a work around.

If you maximize the preview view and download using the download button from that view it seems to download…weird.
