The eagle is held by large wings and Julia doesn’t see that wings are being moved ?
I think my translation is a bit off, can somebody explain the part typed in bold letter ?
Natural English would be “but Julia doesn’t see the wings move”. English has the same form (“move”) for both the transitive sense (someone is moving something) and the intransitive sense (something is moving by itself). Latin prefers the passive (or reflexive “se movere”) for the latter.
