Hi, in Orberg’s Lingua Latina on P.27 the sentence ‘Medus nullam verbum resondet’. Are ‘nullum verbum’ in nominative or accusative (neuter singular)? I can’t figure it out. I’m guessing they are Acc. Sing…? thanks for any help.
You mistyped ‘nullum’ as ‘nullam’ a couple of times, but yes, it’s accusative. It wouldn’t make sense for it to be nominative, since then both “Mēdus” and “nūllum verbum” would be the subject, and a verb can only have one subject.
By the way, this particular line is on page 28, not page 27, at least in my copy of the book.
