This is the funniest thing I’ve heard all day!
Two years ago. During which time he was, at least once, subjected to moderatorial censure for his immoderate raving about D’Ooge. 
What’s wrong with it??/ The man has a passion for D’Ooge…is that so wrong? I know that I feel a certain connection with Lyle Story (the man who co-wrote my first year Greek Grammar), but of course, I have talked with him (he is wonderfully pleasant), and he isn’t dead, and I don’t obsess over him, and I would never use him as a bludgeon against anyone 
Why do I have the feeling I’m about to end up in Epi’s signature again…I’m still stinging from the whole “KOPIW ESTIN GAY” thing!
By the way, did it take the form of a global moderator publically calling him “annoiying” and accusing him of “abuse of authority” among other things?
Of course the situation wasn’t exactly parallel. The global moderator was me, and I had very sharp things to say about the proper way to speak to beginners about their textbook choices.
Ah, the good old days.
I actually think it’s all good and fun, and I don’t think there’s anything “wrong” with those posts by Episcopus. I just feel that there’s been a bit much brought down on Lucus – and I suspect it has more to do with which book he’s been recommending rather than the manner in which he’s been recommending it.
I didn’t realize there were so many until you amalgamated them into one message.
