New, but far from young. About time I had a look at Latin, having near-native fluency in German and a reasonable knowledge of French and Spanish. Have recently started on Italian and I thought well, Latin can’t be all that different. Boy was I in for a shock! The grammar is just insane! 
However, am determined to persevere and I am sure this forum will be of great help.
