Hello all,
As I just registered, I should introduce myself. I’m grimsie. I’m coming back to Latin after what feels like ages. I was never very good with Latin, but somewhere along the way I forgot what little I used to know. So now begins the work of re-learning the language. I’ll probably be working from M&F’s Intensive Course and Orberg’s Lingua Latina at first.
I started learning Old English about a year ago. That language is a blast, and intuitive to a native English speaker. But it’s made me impatient to re-learn Latin and begin to learn Ancient Greek (probably Koine). I’ll likely hold off on the Greek for at least a few months so I don’t overload my poor, feeble intellect.
I look forward to being able to contribute to the community eventually.
