Allen and Greenough in general

Hello,

I’ve inherited a 1903 copy of Allen and Greenough and I’m wondering what you would say are the characteristics and quality of this Grammar.

I’d say its still the gold standard, although some people seem to prefer Gildersleeve.

Somewhat dated, but still very useful. As Dante wrote, there’s really nothing better in English, though Gildersleeve and Lodge is equivalent.
