I finished LLPSI (Familia Romana) and am waiting for Ad Alpes and Fabulae Syrae to arrive. In the meantime, I wanted to do a bit of work to solidify the vocab from the first book. I made a video where I showcase a workflow in Tana (a tool I work at - full disclosure), using GPT4 to generate example sentences, run spaced reptition, and then export to my mobile phone. I know I shouldn’t trust ChatGPT 100%, but so far it seems pretty good. The most sketchy is probably the “famous quotes” - they seem to be made up (I Googled a few of them), but they’re still kind of fun, since it kind of gives ChatGPT the poetic licence to write examples in the style of famous authors, rather than the simplest possible, so I think they’re still neat. But it’s definitely the least useful field.
