aegra [neut. nom. pl. ?] [lacrima]? Fem. Nom. Sing. ?

parentem ? nonne participium est?

With these words she stopped suddenly and tears fell from her eyes, withdrawing from him as he hesitated and with many words assented…? Not sure what ‘multa dicere’…is doing…

aegra ex oculis aufugit - she fled sick from his eyes [i.e., from his presence]. aegra agrees with the feminine subject.

parentem is an error for parantem: " . . . leaving him hesitating and preparing to say many things."

Here’s what Vergil wrote (Aen.IV):

his medium dictis sermonem abrumpit et auras
aegra fugit seque ex oculis auertit et aufert,
linquens multa metu cunctantem et multa parantem 390
dicere.
