This might sound crazy, but I think a supplement to wheelocks that introduces the new vocabulary and grammer concept with a story that can be typed out on a word processor would help students like me immensley.
Have you checked out 38 Latin Stories by Groton and May? We used this with Wheelock’s when I was in college.
yes not long enough. I was thinking something that is 4-5 pages long and lends itself to repetition of grammar and usage.
Yes, the learning through repetition and example is great in Lingua Latina. I’m glad I heard about it here. 38 Latin Stories is pretty pathetic next to it.
