Sheesh! I had forgotten that I was a member of this group. I’ll introduce myself again.
I am a male, 60 years old. I took two years of Latin in high school, but for the rest I am self-taught in Latin and Greek. (I started my Greek with “Homeric Greek: a book for beginners” by Clyde Pharr.) I used my copy of Goodwin’s Greek Grammar to pieces (it was a softcover), so now I am using Smyth’s, a hardcover.
My favorite Latin poet is Lucretius. I have 2 t-shirts I had made: Nam corpora sunt et inane, and Nil igitur mors est ad nos.
I am currently on book 5 of Ovid’s Fasti, and on book 3 of Polybius.
