Here’s a couple of lines of iambic trimeter that should be topical in a few weeks time.

Lol, if there are any Olympic games to go to… the Greeks aren’t doing to well with the building scedule

I can’t think of anything to improve right now…

Hi, here’s my lines on the topic: asking athena not to listen to the slander about her people and the Olympic stadium they’re making (slowly). The lines are in aeolic (except for a few words where i couldn’t find an aeolic word), in Sappho’s famous metre. I’ll do them in spionic and betacode, since i still don’t have spionic back

λίσσομαί σε, μή σ’ ἄϊε ψόγοιο,
ἄλλ’ ’Ολύμπιον δρόμον εὖ ἄερρε

w)= ‘Aqana/a+, filo/tata/ s’ a)/mmin,
li/ssomai/ se, mh/ s’ a)/i+e yo/goio,

and the last “line” runs on in the same breath from the 3rd line… i think i’ve read that…
