First, this χρῆν makes no sense here, should it be left out?
Second, the German edition has εἰ μέν τι χρηστὸν ἔδει instead of χρῆν. In this case, ἔδει makes no sense and should be replaced by ἦν. All this reminds me of a well known and widespread kind of scribal errors ( I forgot its classificatory name, would it be contamination?). Thus, most probably the original text was as follows: εἰ μέν τι χρηστὸν ἦν αὐτὰ διελέσθαι εἴτε ἄλλον ὁντινοῦν εἴτε ἡμᾶς, οὕτως ἔδει αὐτὰ διαιρεῖσθαι, Also, there is an example of dittography here, since the scribe has repeated ἔδει twice.
So, here we have one haplography (χρῆν instead of χρηστὸν ἦν, which is in Burnet’s edition), and one dittography, in both editions. I think that’s it.
