The sentence in the subject line sits alone on the otherwise blank first page of the book "The Gospel of Matthew Gentle Greek Reader". While I recognize some of the words, I can't figure out what it means.
I would appreciate a translation.
Thanks to all.

It is Matthew 22:31, and the NKJ version reads, 'have you not read what was spoken to you by God?'
