Best resources to learn pronunciation?

Post by JasonBaker »

What are the best resources for a complete idiot beginner like me to learn the alphabet and Attic(or other?) pronunciation with all the goodies thrown in like pitch accents etc. ? I know speaking this language is a hotly debated topic but if I don't treat it as if it were a living language and speak everything then I won't remember much, it's how I learn best. I know that much of the pronunciation systems are simply conventions, but I want to do as best as possible with the info that is available. I don't want to speak the language how so many Latin teachers speak Latin and completely butcher the language when they speak it.

I don't know exactly what pronunciation you'd want. I personally like this one very much:

I'm trying to learn it to speak similarly.
