Homeric Greek by Clyde Pharr - Lesson LXXIII

Post by Vasile Stancu »

Vocabulary

ἀργυρό-πεζος, α, ον: apparently, it is only the feminine ἀργυρόπεζα that is attested.

ἐπι-έλπω (ϝελπ-, ϝολπ-), ἐπέολπα: apparently, it is only the middle ἐπέλπομαι that is attested. This has been corrected in the 4th edition; I wonder though if the form ἐπέολπα - included in the 4th edition - should be maintained with this entry.
