It seems Wheelock's is just too much for me, so I'm moving to D'ooge. I'll maybe see you over there :-)

Have you thought of using Lingua Latina per se illustrata? D'ooge is simply awful from what I have seen.

The thing is, it just needs to be interesting. I'm not afraid of hard work, but wheelock was wearing me down.

The comments are all in Spanish, but they say the book is written entirely in Latin. Is that true? Or are there versions for different native languages?

I highly recommend this series even though I learned Latin through a more traditional route.
