Diacritics | Mac desktop shortcuts

Post by emjaye » Sun Dec 01, 2019 10:13 pm

Here is what I learned today. Shortcuts for making diacritics on Mac desktop.

I am learning Homeric Greek from a few different sources. For the site that supplements Pharr, mtholyoke, there are quizzes that need the diacritics. I tried searching but could not find anything that helped me, so I've figured it out on my own. I hope this might help someone else that has a mac desktop and is learning Homeric Greek.

This is for the Greek Polytonic keyboard setting in Mac.

You may already know about this, but selecting "Show Keyboard Viewer" from the input menu can be a great help for finding these shortcuts.
