In usum Delphini

Texts originally prepared for the Dauphin, with extensive introductions, notes and commentary all written in Latin. Shall we say a bit dated, but so cool...

The edition for De Bello Gallico includes a preface written in verse. The poetry editions include Latin prose paraphrases.

Very cool. It's interesting how many of the files are hosted at archive or google books.

The link to John Piazza's webpage is dead.

Also, interesting to see the link to Waldo Sweet's book on Aenid, A Structural Approach.

Do you think it would be possible to organize a reading group for one of those texts? Me personally I would be interested in apuleius.
