This topic may fit for Open Board,
Yesterday I read Lucian's "The Consonants at Law,"
in which Sigma sues Tau for taking greedily the post of sigma, in the court of vowels.
( I got the Loeb volume from "Internet Archive." )- Lucian (Volume 1)
It's funny after learning a little bit of Greek ,
especially you are acquainted with different dialects for "sea(θάλασσα/θάλαττα)", etc.
And it sheds some light upon the history of the Greek language.

Mingshey, that's a very cruel joke to promise someone Lucian and then give them Caesar.

I've created a web page which I think has the text. It can be found at http://www.letsreadgreek.com/misctexts/ ... avstau.htm
