Can someone give me a play-by-play on how to order the Italian Athenaze? Are there any places where I can order it online that ship internationally?
Or if you just want to tell your story as to how you got your copy of Athenaze, go ahead.
Or if anyone in the US wants to sell theirs to me, I'd be happy to take it off their hands.

Re: Help Ordering Italian Athenaze
I know zip, nada, nothing of either Greek or Italian but,...
A few minutes on-line brought me here:
http://www.biblicalgreek.org/grammar/at ... erials.php
Which says this:
I can answer no questions on the text or subject just to be clear.
Hope this helps,

I used the website Unilibro.com, which has the advantage of an English interface. Got my copy no problem.

The shipping charging and conversion rate were a bear, but that can't really be helped.

Great. I think I will try ordering from here. But before I do...thesaurus wrote:I used the website Unilibro.com, which has the advantage of an English interface. Got my copy no problem.

A couple more questions for Italian Athenazers:
Are the exercise books different? If they are, are they similar to the exercises that Orberg uses? Are the Italian exercise manuals worth the money?

Unfortunately, I have no experience with the exercise books. I can say that the exercises at the end of each chapter are fairly traditional: translations to and from Greek, work identifying and choosing specific word constructs, etc.

Thanks for the info, I just ordered them.thesaurus wrote:Unfortunately, I have no experience with the exercise books. I can say that the exercises at the end of each chapter are fairly traditional: translations to and from Greek, work identifying and choosing specific word constructs, etc.
And I looked at a PDF preview of the exercise books on the http://www.vivariumnovum.it/ website, and they looked sufficiently different and more akin to LLPSI to give them a shot.
How long did you have to wait to receive them?
