In the sentence:

Oppid?nī bonī Sext? lēg?t? cl?r? pecūniam dant.

Why is cl?r? used to describe Sext? rather than clar??

Thanks,

Mayoi

Could it be a typo for claro?

I looked in my copy of D'Ooge I downloaded from here, and it is "claro."

Yes, it's a typo. I was using a copy of D'Ooge that I downloaded from Project Gutenberg. I'll try the PDF instead.

Thanks for the replies,

Mayoi
