As an adjunct to Latinum, I have started to compile an online visual vocabulary for Latin for everyday things, using as my basis William's Vocabulary for Speaking Latin (1828), organized roughly thematically. This was done for my own amusement on my computer, but I decided the method was so successful for learning new words, that I would post it online. I do not claim copyright of any of the images, as they are all sourced from Google.
Your might find this useful as a means of effectively increasing your Latin word power. The learning of the Latin word or phrase is not mediated by another language. This is therefore also a resource of use to students of Latin in any country, as the site contains only images and Latin words and phrases that might be applicable to everyday writing and speaking - things like furniture, kitchen implements, foods, etc are covered.

Accessing William's Vocabulary
I've only been able to access and download William's Vocab using this proxy server:
http://proxify.com/
Either open Google through proxify, and then open google books, etc, or put the link for William's text straight into proxify.
Evan.

Hi Evan,
Nice work! As well as your work on Adler, which is on my Ipod, being used regularly.
But as to the original book, even by way of a proxy I can't access it. Could you perhaps send a copy to me? It is not as if we were breaking any copyright rules...
Ingrid, who doesn't understand Google's full view policy at all.

New Index for the vocabularium
I have now, after a specific request, added a topic index to the imaginum vocabularium latinum which had become unwieldy, with over 1600 entries.
This resource should now be a little more user friendly.

ORBIS SENSUALIUM PICTUS
As I cannot work on Latinum at the moment, due to my recent septum operation, and further, due to being in post -operative quarantine -housebound but not bedbound - I have lots of time on my hands.
I have started to add the very useful work of Comenius noted above to the Imaginum Vocabularium, using the original woodcuts from the 1810 edition. This work ties the vocab that has been covered in the photographic part of the blog in short sentences, making it much more likely that the words studied in the photographic part of the imaginum vocabularium will be internalised, while teaching basic grammar along the way.
The woodcuts by themselves are not clear enough, however, if the vocabulary is first studied in the earlier part of the blog, the utility of the woodcuts becomes evident.
Once again, no English is used in this text, making it accessible internationally.
I have also colour coded the words of the text themselves, as an aide memoire.
