What are the other uses of the cases? E.g. ethic dative, ablative of instrument. Are their names standardised?
I'm requesting a comprehensive list if at all possible.
All the uses of the cases (and their names)

You might have a look at Bennett's New Latin Grammar. (I linked to the cases section, but it does load slowly). It's not as comprehensive as some, but it's very readable (and available in a nice form for free online).
There's also an ascii version.

The lists:
G'Oogle and the Internet Pharrchive - 1100 or so free Latin and Greek books.

You also have the “Rules of Syntax? in the book of D’Ooge here in Textkit:
http://www.textkit.com/files/BLD_Latin_ ... f#page=271
I can’t guarantee that all “uses? of ablative case are there, but at least there are many.
Hope this helps,
Andrus
