Starting an Ancient Language club...
Well, I'm starting an Ancient Languages and Cultures club at my college. So far, it seems like it'll be really great.
The problem I have is that I cannot find a good name for it.
I have:
Past Times and Lost Rhymes
The Tongues of Old
Dead Letters.
The first is too long, and the others may make prospective members turn away... Does anybody have any suggestions?

Literary Tongues.
I tend to call Greek, Latin, etc. literary rather than "dead" languages, because their use keeps going even when the native speakers start to speak something else. Even much (if not most) of documented Sumarian was written by non-native speakers using it as we use Latin and Greek. Now, this leaves out OE and ON, but we still study these to read the literature.

How about Linguapalooza?
Didn't think so It's all I could come up with that isn't overly stuffy, sorry. That and Glottarama, but that's even worse.
