If this is Raya's old introductory thread, how come noone replied to it?
...And Pete, what in the name of pluperfect tenses are you talking about?

We are none of us born moderators, though that exalted status is retroactive.
Pete, leave off resurrecting the ancient threads. Necromancy is rude. The threads deserve their rest.

The forum was really inactive until about 2/3 of the way into 2003. Still, I don't why nobody responded to Raya's intro... it makes one sad. And Tim, that is April 2, 2003.

I did notice the year. The April 2nd part seemed...peculiar.
Well, all that aside, the important question is:
Where is Raya? Her last post was ages and ages ago. I always though she sat watch over the Academy. Is she off on some exotic adventure?

Raya is missed by all. She's away and carrying on with new things in her life. We hope she'll return.
And it's no accident that there were no replies to Raya's thread. She came along and made the boards friendly. She started the open board and she was instrumental in helping establish the overall tone and direction for the boards.

yeah, she's no longer 18... she's really busy getting all those permits to study in Canada too. I'm really glad Raya started the open Board
