Actually, its all too easy, and the whole quote is translated in the Brill dictionary under hegemoneuo. The only difficulty might be subjunctive, but I think it is similar to future indicative, as is often the case in Homer. I was looking into hegemoneu to find out what would be the common construction for Plato Acc, or D, as here. So I guess it's Acc, since Xen is mentioned to use Acc. By the way, chat GPT makes mistakes even in English.
