Greek. Praesens and Imperfectum act. (-αω contracted verbs)

Hi everyone! As usual, I will be grateful for your comments and corrections. I'm especially unsure if the participles in 2 are correct and what should be the preposition in 4. Thank you very much in advance!

1. The boys ask their teacher about subjects that are impossible to know.
οἱ παῖδες ἔρονται τὸν διδάσκαλον ἐπὶ πραγμάτων ἅ γιγνώσκειν ἀδυνατόν ἐστιν.

2. The treacherous generals were guiding the hungry and thirsty army of 10,000 Greeks in the impassable mountains of the enemy country.
οἱ ἄσπιστοι στρατηγοὶ πεινώσην καὶ διψώσην στρατιὰν τῶν μυρίων Ἑλλήνων ἐν ἄβατοις τῆς πολεμίας χώρας ἦγον.

3. O child, may thou live (εἴθε + Opt.) well, honestly and piously!
εἴθε, ὦ παῖ, εὖ καὶ δικαίως τε καὶ εὐσεβῶς ζῷς!

4. Agamemnon revered Nestor most of all the Greeks for his prudence and old age.
ὁ Ἀγαμέμνων μάλιστα παντῶν τῶν Ἑλλλήνων ἐτίμου Νέστορα τῆς γνώμης καὶ τοῦ γήρως ἕνεκα.

5. Let the foolish keep silent when (gen. abs.) the wise speaks.
τοῦ σοφοῦ λέγοντος, μωρός σιγᾷ

6. The Athenians especially revered Athena and Poseidon.

8. Children should love and respect their parents.

9. To die gloriously is better than to live shamefully.

10. No man has (=live) a carefree life.
οὐδεὶς τῶν ἄνθρωπον ἀλύπως ζῆν.

Dear bedwere, thank you so much for your corrections! It is of immense help to me. I'm sorry to have made so many stupid mistakes. At least, in the 4 ἕνεκα was good enough to render the cause of Agamemnon's appreciation of Nestor. Also special thanks for participles in 3. I forgot that they decline as θἀλαττα (short a impurum). And of course, in 11 there should be "βέλτιόν", which is a comparative of the adverb equal in form to the comparative of neutral adjective. Well, actually, this "of course" can be said about all my mistakes. Many thanks indeed.

I've found one more typo in my 10) τῶν ἄνθρωπον should be τῶν ἀνθρώπων

Yes, but τῶν ἀνθρώπων is not necessary.
