I'm having trouble translating this sentence from LLPSI Pars I Cap. XXXI:
Orontēs vērō, minimē turbātus, nārrāre pergit: "Tum Bacchus deus, quī ob quoddam beneficium rēgī bene volēbat, "Dabō tibi" inquit "quidquid optāveris."
For the bolded part, I've translated it, "who because of a certain good deed wished the king well"? I can't quite figure out what "bene volebat" means. Also, Is it saying the king has done some good deed?

Re: Lingua Latina Translation Question
bene alicui velle means "to wish somebody well," as you translated. And Bacchus wished the King well because of a good deed that the king had done.
Corrections are welcome (especially for projects).
