I’m going to claim to have identified John Milton’s copy of the Shakespeare First Folio of 1623.

That's amazing!

Thanks for sharing. One singular genius contemporaneously commenting on another singular genius' work. Great article.

If anything I prefer Milton to Shakespeare, although even Milton recognized Shakespeare was his superior.
